Daniel Baylis

Rocketday has supported the works of writer / photographer / musician / traveller / friend Daniel Baylis for a dozen years.

It started in 2013, with Daniel’s book The Traveller. Michel Vrana designed the cover, and Rocketday designed and typeset the 400-page interior, hand-coded the eBook, and built a simple website.

The next project that Rocketday supported was Daniel’s website, designing and building a custom, hand-coded WordPress theme. Daniel’s landing page featured a white spruce, a tree that connects to Daniel’s upbringing in the middle of British Columbia.

The next project that Rocketday supported was A Submission to Love. The book featured Daniel’s poetry beside original collage artworks by Melanie Garcia.
